I
have been painting watercolours for more than 20 years and I like to think
of my artistic talent as a gift.
My main focus lies in painting flowers but I do paint other subjects including
trees, gardens, houses, churches, streetscapes, landscapes and animals.
A significant number of these have been commissioned.
I belong to a number of Societies and particularly value my membership
of two - the Florilegium Society of Chelsea
Physic Garden and the Welland Valley Arts Society.
I am honoured to be a founder member of the Florilegium Society and to
have contributed a number of paintings to the archive of the Physic Garden.
Recently I have been further honoured by being made a Fellow of the Florilegium Society.
My paintings have been hung in local exhibitions and galleries and in
many venues around the UK - including the Society
of Botanical Artists in London.
My works have found new owners in many parts of this country, while others
have gone to Australia, New Zealand, Canada and various European countries.
